Install the Prism panel in After Effects, sign in through your browser, and paste one address into your AI client. The address is public and the same for everyone, so there is no key to create and nothing to keep secret.
You keep the chat window you use every day. Prism gives it hands inside After Effects.
It works inside your open composition, and everything it makes is a real After Effects object.
- Layers, keyframes and easing
- Expressions and effects, written for you
- Compositions, timing and the timeline
- SVG and Lottie files your AI hands it, rebuilt as editable layers
- Character rigging
- Project organisation and cleanup
Anything it makes, you can select, drag and re-ease by hand. The tools run on Prism's servers, so new ones reach you the day they ship. Nothing to reinstall.
Generative AI inside After Effects, paid per use from a balance you top up.
Describe what you want, or point Prism at a track, and the result lands in your timeline. Prism AI is available on Pro.
- Transcribe a voice track into timed subtitles
- Detect the BPM of a music track and place beat markers
- Sound effects from a description
- Music beds from a description
- Images from a description
- Video from a description
Top up from your dashboard whenever you like. You pay per result, only when you use it. The balance never renews on its own, and it never expires.
Only for the AI that is ours.
The model that does the thinking is yours, and Prism takes nothing for it. That is why Pro is a flat $6 a month, not a share of what you already pay.
Prism AI is the separate part. Subtitles, beat markers, sound, music, images and video are generated by us and paid per use from a prepaid balance. Nothing is generated, and nothing is charged, unless you ask for it.
After Effects 2024, 2025 and 2026, on macOS and Windows.
Everything works the same on both. Versions older than 2024 are not supported.
Prism is a panel inside After Effects. When you upgrade After Effects, install the panel in the new version and you are already signed in. There is nothing else to set up.
No.
You describe what you want in plain words, in the chat you already use, and Prism turns it into real work in your timeline. You never write or read code.
If you do know expressions, what Prism writes is readable and editable in After Effects, so you can always take over by hand.
