Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of oneprism.io and all Prism products, including the Prism extension for After Effects (“the Software”). By purchasing a subscription or using any Prism product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the product.

The service is operated by Kamran Akbar, based in Pakistan (“Prism,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions may be directed to support@oneprism.io.

What we sell

Prism sells time-limited software subscriptions. An active subscription grants you the right to download, install, and use the Prism software associated with that subscription while your payment remains current. We do not sell perpetual licenses. When your subscription ends or lapses, your right to use the Software ends with it.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the plan selected at checkout. All billing is processed by our payment provider, Polar.sh. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable rate.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing, billing intervals, or the features included in any plan at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. If we make a material change to your current subscription price, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you before it takes effect. Continued use of the product after any price or plan change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Free plan

We offer a free plan with monthly usage allowances. No payment method is required to use it. We reserve the right to modify the free plan's allowances or discontinue it at any time without notice, and to determine eligibility at our sole discretion.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal at polar.sh/oneprism/portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to the Software until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a genuine technical issue that we are unable to resolve, contact us at support@oneprism.io and we will review your request. We are under no obligation to issue a refund but will aim to handle requests fairly.

License

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software on machines you own or control, solely for your own internal creative work, for the duration of your active subscription.

You may not: copy, distribute, or redistribute the Software; resell, sublicense, or transfer access to any third party; use the Software in a service bureau, time-sharing, or hosted manner; or make the Software available to individuals who have not purchased their own license.

Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all source code, algorithms, interfaces, documentation, branding, and all associated intellectual property, remain the exclusive property of Prism and its licensors. These Terms grant you no ownership rights of any kind. The Prism name, logo, and product names are trademarks of Prism and may not be used without prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Prism only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not: attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the Software; circumvent or disable any licensing, authentication, or access control mechanism; use the Software to develop or assist in developing a competing product; scrape or harvest data from any Prism service; or use the Software in any way that violates applicable law.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Software and any Prism services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acted in a manner harmful to Prism, its users, or third parties. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

Service availability

We aim to keep Prism available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available service. We may at any time update, modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any part of the Software or service, including features, integrations, or the product as a whole, without notice and without liability to you. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from downtime, interruptions, or the discontinuation of the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Software and all Prism services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be free of errors or security vulnerabilities.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prism and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Software, including loss of data, lost revenue, lost profits, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or damage to your creative projects, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Software — regardless of the form of the action — is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the three calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prism and its operator, affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, fines, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the Software; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights; or any content you produce using the Software that infringes, misappropriates, or violates any applicable law or third-party right.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update or replace these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, pricing, subscription plans, features, or any other aspect of the product or service at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Changes will be posted at oneprism.io with an updated date. If a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the product after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with updated terms, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription and stop using the product.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan. Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as Merchant of Record; their own terms additionally apply to the payment transaction.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Prism with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, or understandings, whether written or oral. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
