Prism connects your AI to a live After Effects composition, and it is built to reach into your work as little as possible. Here is exactly what moves and what never does, so anyone who has to approve a tool can check it line by line.
Your .aep files, footage, comps and creative work. They are never uploaded, never copied, never stored.
When your AI plans an action, Prism reads the structure of the open composition, its layers, properties and timing, so the action lands in the right place.
The specific action you asked for goes to the server, which sends back the exact step to run. Nothing speculative is ever sent.
Only if you run transcription or beat detection. The result comes back as subtitles or markers, and the audio is discarded.
What you send runs your request, then it is gone. Nothing you make trains a model.
Compositions, footage and files are not retained on our servers. Requests pass through and are not stored.
You bring your own AI client and Prism takes nothing for it. Prism AI, the generative part, runs only when you ask for it and is charged per use.
Every action Prism takes lands as a single step in After Effects history. Undo it exactly the way you undo anything else.
Ask for a checkpoint and Prism saves your project, then writes a timestamped copy beside it and confirms the copy landed. It is a step you request, not one that happens on its own.
