Colour scripts exist and they are good at one thing: list every colour in the comp, click one, set another. The project-wide version with a rule in it is the one no script has. Swap the brand red everywhere except the logo, include the solids, and say where it was.

Labels are the cheap version of this and the one most people actually want: every audio layer blue, every adjustment layer yellow, every precomp the colour your studio uses. Say the rule once and it runs across every comp.

What it does not do
It does not recolour footage, a rendered PNG or a pre-rendered comp. A colour set by an expression follows whatever the expression reads, so the control changes, not the layer. Near matches are not swapped unless you give a tolerance.
