The panel is called After Effects MCP

In Window → Extensions the panel now appears as After Effects MCP. Earlier versions were listed as AE Prism, so if you went looking for the panel under the name you had been given, it was not there.

The name lives inside the panel, so it changes once you install a 1.1 or later panel. Download the current panel from the License Portal and reinstall as described in install.

Plan changes apply reliably

Prism is billed through Polar, which notifies the server of a purchase or a plan change by webhook. Those notifications were being rejected, which meant Polar switched the endpoint off and the server stopped hearing about changes.

Two things were wrong: the signature was checked against the wrong form of the shared secret, and legitimate retries were refused for being too old. Both are fixed. Verification is now strict and identical everywhere — there is no mode in which an unverified notification is accepted.

This is a server change and reached you automatically.

Failures can be found without a report

The server now records how Prism is used and where calls fail, so a problem can be seen and fixed without someone having to write in about it.

What is recorded, and what never leaves your machine, is set out in the privacy policy. Your project files, footage and renders are not part of it.
